Appoint Tommy O'Malley to the Accident Risk Review Board (ARRB), effective immediately, to replace the seat vacated by Richard Azart.
Background:
The Accident Risk Review Board (ARRB) is defined in the Vehicle Use and Accident risk Review Policy adopted in 2007. Currently policy calls for a seven person Board consisting of:
1. The Fleet Management Director, Chairman and Central Record Keeper
2. The Deputy County Administrator
3. The Risk Manager or designee
4. The County Sheriff or designee
5. The Heavy Fleet Management Director
6. Two employee representatives, appointed by the Board of Supervisors. (Currently they are Dave Estelle & Richard Arzate both with Highway & Floodplain)
This policy will be reviewed soon and some changes will be recommended. It will still be a seven person Board but the proposed changes include:
1. The Deputy County Administrator, Chairman
2. The Fleet Management Director, Central Record Keeper
3. The Risk Manager or designee
4. The County Sheriff or designee
5. The Community Development Director or designee
6. Two employee representatives, appointed by the Board of Supervisors (Richard Azart will be stepping down from the ARRB)
