Approve the re-appointment of Dr. Gary Maluf to a fourth consecutive four-year term, August 1, 2012 - July 31, 2016 as the District No. 3 representative to the Cochise County Board of Health.
Background:
Supervisor Les Thompson, District 3 invited Dr. Gary Maluf to join the Cochise County Board of Health in April 2003. Dr. Maluf agreed to become a member of the Board of Health. He has served on the Board of Health since April 2003. Dr. Maluf's current term will come to an end on July 31, 2012. Dr. Maluf has expressed his willingness to continue on the Board of Health for a fourth consecutive four-year term.
The Health Department is thankful for his willingness to participate on this Board for a fourth term. Dr. Maluf is an active member in the Health Community in District 3, and is able to convey the health concerns of his community accurately. It is my recommendation the Board of Supervisors approves Dr. Maluf’s appointment renewal to the Cochise County Board of Health, for the four year term of August 1, 2012 through July 31, 2016.

Physician Representative - Vacant
