Approve grant of revised utility easement to Arizona Public Service (APS) for parcel 408-34-008A for the new Commercial Land Port of Entry (LPOE) west of Douglas, for the consideration of One Dollar ($1.00).
Background:
Arizona Public Service has requested to revise the easement granted September 10, 2024 across County parcel 408-34-008A to construct new electrical lines to service the General Services Administration (GSA) commercial LPOE that will be located west of the City of Douglas. APS needs to move the easement 6 feet north to allow working clearance from existing street light poles.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Provide copy of recorded easement to APS and GSA.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
Would hinder APS providing services to GSA.
