Adopt Zoning Ordinance 25-03 to rezone tax parcel 105-28-005C (District 1) from RU-4 (Rural District, one dwelling per 4 acres) to RU-2 (Rural District, one dwelling per 2 acres) pursuant to the application of Zane and Carina Riternour.
Background:
The County received a request from Zane and Carina Ritenour (applicants) to rezone tax parcel 105-28-005C from RU-4 (Rural District, one dwelling per 4 acres) to RU-2 (Rural District, one dwelling per 2 acres). The property totals about 5.6 acres and is located at 9155 W. Coronado Trail near Elgin (Supervisor District 1).
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
The department will update the county zoning map to reflect the new zoning district.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
The parcel will remain RU-4 and future development will conform to applicable use, site development, and building code requirements of the RU-4 zoning district.
