Docket SU25-17: An applicant-initiated Special Use Authorization request to erect a billboard at the southeast corner of Highway 90 and Pine Street near Huachuca City (APN 106-15-013C). The property is zoned General Business (GB).
Background:
The county received a Special Use Authorization Request from Summit Locations LLC (applicant) to erect a billboard at the southeast corner of Highway 90 and Pine Street near Huachuca City (APN 106-15-013C). The proposed billboard is double-sided with 576’ square feet of advertising area per side and a total height above ground level of 45’. The proposed sign facings are static and lit with 100W LED fixtures. The property totals about 13.25 acres and is zoned GB (General Business District).
The applicant requests this item be tabled until the September 10, 2025, meeting. Per an email from the applicant, dated 8/5/2025, "this will allow us (applicant) to better prepare for in-person attendance and adjust our plans as needed."
