Accept the elections results certified and submitted by the Cochise County Elections Department as the official canvass for the Primary Election held on August 28, 2012.
Background:
As set forth in A.R.S. 16-642(A) and 16-645(B) the Board of Supervisors shall canvass and submit the canvassed results to the Secretary of State within 10 days of the primary election.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Submit official canvassed results of the Primary Election held on August 28, 2012 to the Secretary of State's office.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
Cochise County will not be in compliance with State Statute regarding the canvassing of election results.
