Approve two Memorandums of Understanding between Cochise County and the Arizona Department of Public Safety to assume the tower site leases for communications towers located on Mule Mountain (DPS 2012-157) and Texas Canyon (DPS 2012-158).
Background:
Arizona DPS is planning on decommissioning and tearing down their old tower sites on Mule Mountain and Texas Canyon. These towers currently have our microwave and radio equipment on them, so it is in the County's best interest to assume the lease from DPS.
Need BOS signature on 3 each of the original 2 MOU's between Cochise County and Arizona DPS to assume the tower site lease from DPS. BOS has already signed the Assignment Application, however we need to execute these MOU's to move forward.
