PRESENTATION
 
1.
Mr. Bill Hardy is presenting the Steve Besich Scholarship. This Scholarship Fund is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing scholarships in the name of former Gila County Manager, Steve Besich. Steve dedicated his life to serving others- this Fund is a tribute to this legacy and will continue to help others for years to come. These scholarships will be awarded to children of employees from Apache, Cochise, Gila, Graham, Greenlee, La Paz, Mohave, Navajo, Pinal, Santa Cruz, and Yavapai Counties.

Approve the Grant Agreement from The Nature Conservancy awarded to County Cochise in the amount of $8,000 to pass these funds on to the United States Geological Survey (USGS) for the monitoring of the USGS Benson/Narrows Gage for the fiscal year 2011.
