REQUESTED ACTION:
DISCUSSION AND MOTION TO APPROVE the 2021 MPO Board Meeting Dates
WHAT THIS ACTION ACCOMPLISHES:
Approval of this action will set the MPO Board meeting dates for 2021 and allow MPO staff to arrange for the public notification of meetings and to set due dates for materials to be included in MPO agenda items.
SUMMARY EXPLANATION/BACKGROUND:
The Attachment includes the proposed 2021 MPO meeting dates for review.
The proposed dates remain consistent with the schedule for previous years and represent MPO meetings as being held on the second Thursday of the month at 9:30 a.m., with no meetings scheduled for January or August (a Board Retreat has been scheduled in lieu of the meeting on January 14, 2021 and the February meeting has been moved up to January 28, 2021). Please note the November 2021 Board meeting falls on a federal holiday: Veterans Day. Thursday, November 4, 2021 has been discussed internally as a potential alternative date.
Further, in an effort to reduce the number of in-person meetings, some scheduled meetings may be workshops with no action items proposed for those agendas. As those dates draw near, updates will be provided. In the meantime, all proposed dates should be calendared to ensure quorum.
