Recommendation/Action Requested and Justification
Request approval of interlocal cooperation agreement between Jourdanton Independent School District and Atascosa County Sheriff regarding School Resource Officer. Deputy Derek Garcia will be employed by Jourdanton ISD who will cover 100% of expenses relating to his employment. This SRO will be commissioned as a Deputy Sheriff by the Atascosa County Sheriff. Interlocal Cooperation Agreement has been reviewed and approved by Atascosa County Attorney's Office.
