Public Comments - Pursuant to Texas Government Code 551.007, the commissioners court allows any person to make comment on any item appearing on the agenda, however in this section of public comment any person may make comment on items not posted on the agenda.  Any comments made will not be deliberated on by the Commissioners Court during this Public Comments agenda item. Public Comments are limited to three (3) minutes per person.

Presentation of the donation from the Burnet County Employee Picnic basket sales to Ark of the Highland Lakes and brief presentation on flood recovery efforts. (Wilson/ Stafford)

Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding Department Updates:
a. Burnet County Sheriff's Office;
b. Emergency Management, including Debris Site;
c. Road & Bridge.

Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding extending the Burnet County Local State of Disaster. (Wilson)

Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding the burn ban for the unincorporated areas of Burnet County. (Wilson)

Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding allowing the use of county equipment and manpower to assist the Burnet Rodeo Association in arena preparation for their upcoming fundraiser on October 11, 2025. (Beierle)
 
12.
Discus, consider, and take appropriate action FOR authorization to contract with for Dykema Levy to provide Design Services for Briggs Community Center located at 185 Loop 308 in Briggs, Texas. The project will include documenting the existing conditions for the +/-10,000 SF Briggs Community Center, review them against applicable building codes and provide code-compliant corrections. Also provide design and documentation for the rest of the renovation scope and support the builder during construction. (Beierle)

Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding the following for the County Court at Law's Official Court Reporter's FY24 compensation to be in compliance with the Texas Government Code 252.0929(j). Payment of back pay of 2,080 hours at the difference to actual payment
of salary $84,572.80 ($40.66 per hour) and corrected amount of salary $97,136.00 ($46.70 per hour) equals $12,563.20. (Wilson)
