Informational update and discussion item.

Executive Summary:
The Picture Canyon Natural and Cultural Preserve Improvement Project will enhance visitor access, connectivity, and accessibility while protecting the area’s important natural and cultural resources. The project includes a possible construction of a new trail connection and additional parking, upgrades to the existing parking area to provide ADA-accessible parking, improved drainage, enhanced signage, and a more durable parking surface. In addition, the project will investigate adding two new accessible trail alignments, creating inclusive opportunities for visitors of all abilities to experience the Preserve’s unique ecological and cultural features.
