TITLE:
Consideration of Grant Agreement and Acceptance of Grant Funding: State of Arizona, Office of the Attorney General FY 2013 Victims' Rights Program.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve/decline the Grant Agreement with the Office of the Arizona Attorney General, FY 2013 Victims' Rights Program (VRP) and authorize the acceptance of grant funding in the amount of $9,920.00 to offset costs incurred by the Flagstaff City Attorney's Office to implement victims' rights.
Policy Decision or Reason for Action:
Subsidiary Decisions Points: Approval of the Grant Agreement is necessary for receipt of the Office of the Attorney General FY 2013 Victims' Rights funds. This award supports the direct costs of implementing victims' rights laws pursuant to those provisions of Arizona Revised Statues Title 13, Chapter 40 and Title 8, Chapter 3, Article 7 impacting Prosecutorial as an entity type.
Financial Impact:
Approval of the Grant Agreement will provide $9,920.00 for .30 Administrative Specialist time to implement the victims' right program.
