Consideration of Appointments: Personnel Board
 

1. Councilmember Aslan to make one appointment
2. Councilmember Matthews to make one appointment

The Personnel Board consists of seven citizens, and is responsible for determining that the City has followed proper procedures in matters concerning the dismissal, demotion, or suspension without pay of ten (10) working days or more.

The City of Flagstaff is committed to increasing diversity in every board and commission, please consider how the applicant stated they may contribute to this commitment.

There are two (2) applications on file for consideration by the Council as follows:

• Cynthia  Chilcoat (current Commissioner)
• Kenyon Lemon (new applicant)

In an effort to reduce exposure to personal information, the applicant roster and applications will be submitted to the City Council separately.

COUNCIL APPOINTMENT ASSIGNMENT: Councilmember Aslan, Councilmember Matthews 

These are voluntary positions and there is no budgetary impact to the City of Flagstaff.

1. Appoint one Board Member: By appointing members at this time, the Personnel Board will have enough membership to allow the group to meet and provide recommendations to the City Council.
2. Postpone the action to allow for further discussion or expand the list of candidates.
