Type of Approval: UPDATE
Approval Date: 2/26 ongoing
Findings:
HPO will work with the various entities and staff to resolve the permits and reviews. HPO will schedule HPC Certificate of Appropriates hearing when submissions are deemed complete.
Information:
Project was initiated without a permit, a stop work order has been issued. The small porch project is within a generally hidden location of the backyard but still required HPO review and a plan set submitted. To complicate matters the Homeowner does not live in the home, a fiduciary is handling the HPC submission and the current resident is the one that did the construction. Communications and authority in the project have not been clearly stated. Because of complexities and neighborhood concerns a certificate of appropriateness was determined to be the best approach by the HPO.
