Findings:
The initial submission proposing a aged corrugated metal roof seems appropriate for the home in the context of the neighborhood. HPO requested applicant collect neighborhood letters to confirm design compatibility with neighboring homes. With confirmation HPO feels Certificate of No Effect determination may be applicable.
Information:
This unique former small Baptist has been converted into a residence. Home currently has an asphalt shingle roof in a warm brown tone. The home is adjacent to a building with a galvanized corrugated roof. Homeowner proposes a corrugated rust finish metal roof. Additional design specifications and application has been requested. Unique stone door surround and stain glass has resulted in a unique pleasing home adaptation, some decorative additions to the roof ridge may be appropriate.
