Regional Plan 2045 Discussion (continued)
STAFF RECOMMENDED ACTION:
- Review the Flagstaff Regional Plan 2030 for its Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats
- Go to the website emailed to Commission members, log in, and fill in the Brainstorm step of the Group Map exercise by Tuesday, May 17. Staff will review entries and combine duplicates prior to the meeting.
- Review the entries as a group at the meeting and prioritize them.
Executive Summary:
On March 16, 2022, the Heritage Preservation Commission began its review of the current Regional Plan. The purpose of this exercise is for the Commission to provide initial feedback to the update team. See the staff report from that meeting for background information.

Policy Impact:
The Flagstaff Regional Plan serves as the General Plan for the City of Flagstaff, AZ. It provides a framework for the Flagstaff Zoning Code and many other City policies. The process of updating the plan and sending it back to voters for ratification is underway and provides the opportunity to discuss improvements to the plan.
Connection to PBB Priorities/Objectives, Carbon Neutrality Plan & Regional Plan:
Input in this process will influence the Regional Plan, Carbon Neutrality Plan implementation, and the setting of budget priorities.
