Consideration and Adoption of Resolution No. 2018-45: A resolution of the City Council of the City of Flagstaff, Arizona declaring the second Monday of October as Indigenous Peoples' Day in the City of Flagstaff.

Executive Summary:
The discussion regarding the declaration of Indigenous Peoples' Day began in 2016 and was most recently addressed by Council in October 2017. In response to those discussions, Resolution 2018-45 declaring the second Monday of October as Indigenous Peoples' Day is attached for Council's consideration.
The City was also provided language proposed by the Indigenous Circle of Flagstaff, which is attached to this staff summary as well. If Council would like to add any of the language proposed by the Indigenous Circle to the draft of Resolution 2018-45, those additions may be requested during discussion of this item.
