As indicated, the attached petition has been submitted by several members of the public requesting that the Council place on a future agenda a resolution urging the United States Congress to support a carbon fee-and-dividend, which is designed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions while stimulating the economy. In conformance with the Flagstaff City Charter, this item has been placed on the agenda under Future Agenda Item Request (FAIR) to determine if there is direction from the Council to move this request forward to a future agenda.
