Executive Summary:
This litigation stems from an auto accident that occurred on March 23, 2017, involving Mr. Castaneda and a City snow grader that was being driven by former City employee Timothy Chadwick. Mr. Castaneda is alleging injuries and seeking damages as a result of the accident.
The City has reached a tentative settlement of this particular litigation, subject to the approval of the City Council. The tentative settlement and legal advice related thereto was discussed with the City Council in executive session on October 30, 2018.
