MMV McMillan Mesa Village housing development

Parcel is located on McMillan Mesa with known cultural resources within the general area. The protection of archeological resources is complicated by the fact that the area has been utilized for the storage of stockpiles of gravel and soil. This disturbance will make it difficult for any meaningful surface survey. A Cultural Resource Study is being required with a letter report as the first step with a focus or area resources and the likelihood of subsurface findings once the site is cleared of stored stockpiles. The letter report will be the first step and evaluated by the HPO for further actions and reporting.
