Presentation on the Citizen Request Tracker (a.k.a. "Report a Concern") online tools.

DESIRED OUTCOME:

To inform the City Council and public about the "Report a Concern"  and the "Citizen Request Tracker" online tools.

INFORMATION:

Since the redesign of the City website, which went live in June of 2012, staff has taken advantage of a new online tool that allows citizens to submit comments and concerns over the internet.  From reporting a pothole in the road to providing comments to Mayor and Council on future policy decisions, citizen concerns can be transmitted and tracked via the City website using these new online tools.  With the Citizen Request Tracker (CRT) iPhone application now fully functional, staff is excited to introduce and market this new, convenient medium for citizens to communicate with their City government.

One of the most convenient ways to report a concern is through the CRT iPhone application.  Staff will provide an informational presentation that will include a demonstration of the online tool that enables quick and mobile access to City services. 

A tutorial for installing and using the online tool is attached.
