SUBJECT:
Approve the repair and overhaul of the hydraulic boom lift on Vehicle # 21368 by Stamm Manufacturing in an amount not to exceed $14,280.40.
SUMMARY:
Vehicle 21368 is one of two bucket/lift trucks within our fleet. It is the smaller of the two and is utilized often for tree work in tight spaces and for banner replacement throughout the City. The Versalift hydraulic lift assembly on this truck is in need of repair/overhaul.
RECOMMENDATION:
The Public Works Department is recommending awarding this repair to Stamm Manufacturing, Inc. of Fort Pierce as a Single Source Vendor. Stamm Manufacturing is the only authorized dealer for Versalift in the state of Florida.
ALTERNATIVES:
Not authorize the repair.
