SUBJECT:
Approve De La Hoz Builders, Inc.as the lowest responsive bidder to Bid # 2018-018 for an amount not to exceed $25,847 for the rehabilitation of 210 North 30th Street funded through the State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) program.
SUMMARY:
According to SHIP Local Housing Assistance Plan (LHAP), the City may provide Owner-Occupied Housing rehabilitations using SHIP funds to upgrade substandard houses. SHIP assistance is provided to income-eligible owner-occupied households on a first come, first qualified, first served basis.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve De La Hoz Builders, Inc. as the lowest responsive bidder for Bid #2018-018.
ALTERNATIVES:
Do not approve the award of Bid #2018-018 to De La Hoz Builders, Inc.
