SUBJECT:
Approval for Extension of Time to pay the reduced fines on 2404 Oleander Avenue, Ft. Pierce, FL 34982, Parcel ID Number 2422-604-0002-000-0 owned by Joan R. Stevenson (Est) and Evone D. McArthur, 2404 Oleander Avenue, Ft. Pierce, FL 34982. Mrs. McArthur is requesting an additional six (6) months to pay the reduced fines.
SUMMARY:
At their December 3, 2018 meeting the City Commission approved the reduction of fines in the amount of $358,550.00 (consisting of 3 liens) to $750.00 ($250.00 per lien) payable in 6 months. Mrs. McArthur has paid to date $200.00 leaving a balance of $550.00. Her income consists of approximately $769.00 per month. She is requesting an additional six (6) months to pay the remaining balance.
RECOMMENDATION:
Extend the payment of reduced fines for six (6) months.
