Request to reduce code enforcement lien in the amount of $419,040.00 (includes $40.00 recording fees) against 1312 Edgewood Terrace, Ft. Pierce, FL 34950 - Parcel ID Number 2404-807-0013-000-7 previously owned by Justin Mitchell, 3968 Alla Road, Los Angeles, CA 90066 and currently owned by Claude Facey, Team Facey Real Estate LLC, 2833 SW Brighton Street, Port St. Lucie, FL 34953 to $2,500.00 payable in 30 days.
SUMMARY:
Mr. Facey and Team Facey Real Estate acquired the property via foreclosure sale. They brought the property into compliance and it will cost an additional $40,000 plus to make additional repairs and bring the property to code. They have a lender providing the fines and liens are satisfied with the city.
Team Facey Real Estate's current request is to reduce the lien to $549.75.

RECOMMENDATION:
The Special Magistrate, having heard the request of the owner and testimony from staff, recommends reducing the lien to $2,500.00 payable in 30 days. The recommended reduction represents the administration costs as follows:
