SUBJECT:
Approval of contract between the City of Fort Pierce and the Teamsters Local Union Number 769, October 1, 2017 to September 30, 2020.
SUMMARY:
The Teamsters' Contract has been ratified and is ready for Commission Approval. Agreed upon items include:
1. Three percent (3%) annual increase
2. Agreement on the proposed Disability Retirement changes
3. Agreement to a name change for Code Enforcement Officers to Code Compliance Officers
4. Agreement to a one percent (1%) increase in certification incentive for police civilian certifications from 2% to 3%.
5. Agreement to add certification incentives for Public Works Master Gardener and Playground Repair
