FDOT Proposed Lighting Agreement

SUBJECT:

Approval of contract for FDOT lighting improvements located at the intersection of US1 (SR5) and Virginia Ave.

SUMMARY:

FDOT will be adding a right turn lane on US1 for westbound Virginia Avenue traffic. The existing lighting adjacent to this project will need to be relocated. FPUA will be performing the lighting portion of the project and FDOT will reimburse the cost associated.

RECOMMENDATION:

Approve contract.

ALTERNATIVES:

Staff will proceed as directed by the Commission.
