- FDOT Local Agency Program (LAP) Supplemental Agreement - South 31st Street Sidewalks
- Submitted For:
- John Andrews
SUBJECT:
Resolution No. 14-R28, authorizing the execution of the Local Agency Program (LAP) Supplemental Agreement No. 1 decreasing the Federal Aid funding amount previously allocated for the construction of the South 31st Street sidewalks.
SUMMARY:
This Supplemental Agreement will reduce the Federal Aid funding for the South 31st Street project by an amount of $109,258.00 or from $383,563.00 to $274,305.00 in accordance with the requirements of the Federal Highway Administration. Upon award of the construction contract excess funding remained in the LAP Agreement which needs to be unencumbered and returned to the Federal Government. So when the construction cost of $228,278.00 is added to the allocated CEI budget of $46,027.00 there remains a total of $109,258.00 surplus funding. Therefore, we are required to amend the original LAP Agreement to release these funds back to the Federal Government.
