Legislative Hearing - Ordinance No. 21-054 - This is a voluntary annexation of a parcel of land located at 427 South Market Avenue in Fort Pierce, Florida. FIRST READING

Legislative Hearing - Ordinance No. 21-055 - This is a voluntary annexation of a parcel of land located at 601 South Market Avenue in Fort Pierce, Florida. FIRST READING

SUMMARY:

The subject properties have a St. Lucie County Future Land Use designation of Industrial (IND) and a zoning designation of Industrial Light (IL). To ensure consistency with Policy 1.11.5 of the City’s Comprehensive Plan, the proposed Future Land Use designation for both parcels is Industrial (I), with a zoning classification of Light Industrial (I-1).

Should the Applications for Annexation be approved, they could create a new source of ad-valorem tax revenue annually to the City of Fort Pierce, depending on the millage rate per year, which currently is 6.9000.
