SUBJECT:

Legislative Hearing - Ordinance No. 21-049 - This is a voluntary annexation of a parcel of land located at 3921 South US Highway 1 in Fort Pierce, Florida. SECOND READING

Legislative Hearing - Ordinance No. 21-050 - This is a voluntary annexation of a parcel of land located at 3957 South US Highway 1 in Fort Pierce, Florida. SECOND READING

Legislative Hearing - Ordinance No. 21-051 - This is a voluntary annexation of a parcel of land located at 5560 South US Highway 1 in Fort Pierce, Florida. SECOND READING

SUMMARY:

The subject properties have St. Lucie County Future Land Use designations of Industrial (IND) and Commercial (COM) and zoning designations of Industrial Light (IL) and Commercial General (CG). To ensure consistency with Policy 1.11.5 of the City’s Comprehensive Plan, the proposed Future Land Use designations for the parcels are Industrial (I) and General Commercial (GC), with zoning classifications of Light Industrial (I-1) and General Commercial (C-3).

OTHER INFORMATION:

Should the Application for Annexation be approved, in the future it could create a new source of ad-valorem tax revenue annually to the City of Fort Pierce, depending on the millage rate per year, which currently is 6.9000.
