SUBJECT:
Approval of Interlocal Agreement between the St. Lucie Transportation Planning Organization and the City of Fort Pierce for passenger rail station design.
SUMMARY:
The St. Lucie Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) amended the FY 2022/23 - FY 2023/24 Unified Planning Work Program to provide for the initial site plan and conceptual design for a future passenger rail station in Downtown Fort Pierce. The TPO has approved the expenditure of Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act funding for this project. In accordance with this Interlocal Agreement, the City will be responsible for procuring and paying the vendors and the TPO will reimburse the City for payments made.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of the Interlocal Agreement with St. Lucie TPO.
ALTERNATIVES:
Amend or deny the Interlocal Agreement.

FISCAL IMPACT:
