SUBJECT:
Approval of Continuing Services Contract for RFQ No. 2024-005, Miscellaneous Professional Architectural and Engineering Services to GFA International, Inc. dba Universal Engineering Sciences, Port St. Lucie, FL.
SUMMARY:
During the February 20, 2024, City Commission meeting, RFQ No. 2024-005 was awarded to twelve firms. These firms were selected as the city's Miscellaneous Professional Continuing Services providers. They are licensed professional consultants and will offer services in areas such as Architectural, Environmental Services, Facilities Engineering - MEP Services, Facilities Engineering - Structural, Hydrogeological, Landscape Architect, and Urban Planning.
The firms operate under regulations outlined in Chapter 287.055 of the Florida Statues, known as the Consultant's Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA). They will provide advice, technical investigation, analysis, design, and other professional services to support all city departments for an initial term of one (1) year, with three (3) one-year renewal options.
