SUBJECT:
Approve Close Construction, LLC as the lowest responsive bidder for Bid #2018-013 for an amount not to exceed $34,550 for rehabilitation of 1809 Oleander Avenue funded through the State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) program.
SUMMARY:
According to the SHIP Local Housing assistance Plan (LHAP), the City may provide Owner-Occupied Housing rehabilitations with SHIP funds to upgrade substandard homes. SHIP assistance is provided to income-eligible owner-occupied households on a first come, first qualified, first served basis.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve Close Construction, LLC as the lowest responsive bidder for Bid #2018-013.
ALTERNATIVES:
Do not approve the award of Bid #2018-013 to Close Construction, LLC.
