SUBJECT:

Award of Bid No. 2018-011 - Fuel Tank Removal and Installation to ATC Group Services, LLC., Tampa FL, for an amount not to exceed $160,000.00.

SUMMARY:

Bid No. 2018-011 was advertised and invitations were sent to 443 vendors. Seven (7) vendors requested specifications with four (4) responding (57.14%) plus 0 "No Bid" (57.14% total response).

ATC Group Services, LLC. was the lowest, most responsive and responsible bidder.

This contractor will be responsible for the cleaning and removal of the two (2) existing 12,000 gallon fuel tanks as well as the installation of two (2) new Cylindrical Double Wall Firegaurd UL-2085 fuel tanks. The outer walls of the existing tanks have begun to deteriorate and are not repairable, replacement is necessary to maintain the required FDEP permit.
 

RECOMMENDATION:

The Public Works Department recommends awarding Bid No. 2018-011 to ATC Group Services, LLC., Tampa FL.

ALTERNATIVES:

Staff will proceed as directed by the Commission.
