A second claim for bodily injury by Carlos Montenegro.
RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Staff recommends that the City Council deny the claim by Carlos Montenegro.
DISCUSSION:
Claimant Carlos Montenegro alleges false arrest, wrongful imprisonment, defamation, and violations of federal and state civil rights laws stemming from his arrest by Hawthorne PD in 2020 for "voter fraud."
