Annual Progress Reports for the General Plan and Housing Element for 2025.
RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Approve the 2025 Annual Progress Reports (APR) for the General Plan and Housing Element so that they may be submitted to the appropriate state offices by the deadline of April 1, 2026.
DISCUSSION:
Each year every city and county in California is required to submit reports on the status and progress of their general plan and housing element by April 1 of the following year. Although Hawthorne's General Plan is currently being updated, the General Plan APR addresses the existing 1990 General Plan and its various amendments.
