Blanket Purchase Order for Fineline Auto Body.
 

Staff recommends that the City Council approve an increase to the original Blanket Purchase Order for Fineline Auto Body from $175,000 to $275,000.

Staff is requesting an increase to the existing Purchase Order with Fineline Auto Body to accommodate a higher than anticipated volume of fleet repair and bodywork services. Over the past several months, the City has experienced an uptick in maintenance needs across various vehicles, including unplanned repairs that require timely attention to ensure continued safe and reliable operations.

This increase reflects the necessity to maintain the City’s fleet in a state of readiness, particularly as service levels and response requirements continue to expand. Fineline Auto Body has consistently provided responsive and reliable service, and maintaining this partnership will help avoid delays in repairs that could impact departmental operations.

The requested adjustment will ensure sufficient funding is available to address ongoing and emerging repair needs through the remainder of the fiscal year while supporting uninterrupted fleet availability.

Maintaining a reliable and fully operational City fleet ensures that essential public services such as street maintenance, infrastructure repairs, police and code enforcement are delivered efficiently, which supports a safe and well maintained environment for businesses and residents.
