First Amendment to the Consultant Agreement for Labor Compliance Monitoring Services ("First Amendment") between the City of Hawthorne ("City") and  LDM Associates, Inc. ("Consultant").
 

Staff recommends that the City Council approve this First Amendment and authorize the City Manager or his designee to execute the First Amendment to the Consultant Agreement.

During the April 22, 2025 City Council meeting, Resolution No. 8523 approved a professional services agreement for labor compliance monitoring with LDM Associates, Inc. The City partnered with LDM Associates, Inc. to provide Labor Compliance Monitoring services for various capital improvement projects.

The City wishes to amend the agreement to extend the scope of work to include future projects as recommended by the City Manager and/or Public Works Director.

This agreement aligns with the City's Economic Development Element goal of enhancing the quality of life in the City, which is an important marketing asset for business attraction and making economic development a part of City decisions.

None. Funds for the cost of this amendment are budgeted within each project and will be funded accordingly through each project. These services do not affect the general fund in any way.
