Requesting consideration of approval to award and enter into a contract with Clayton Homes the lowest responsible bidder in the amount of $292,044.98.
BACKGROUND
1. The applicants were approved to receive assistance under the Owner-Occupied Housing Rehabilitation
Program by the County Commissioners’ Court. Bids were received and opened at the Hidalgo County
Purchasing Department on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. The scope of work includes the demolition of
existing units and delivery/set-up of new mobile homes as follow:
Subject to compliance with HB 1295, when and if applicable.
Available Funds: $384,425.55 FY 2022 HOME Rehab Program
Program by the County Commissioners’ Court. Bids were received and opened at the Hidalgo County
Purchasing Department on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. The scope of work includes the demolition of
existing units and delivery/set-up of new mobile homes as follow:
- One (1) Mobile Home unit in the County jurisdiction of Donna
- Two (2) Mobile Home units in the City of San Juan.
Subject to compliance with HB 1295, when and if applicable.
