The Urban County Program, is requesting approval to amend and decrease the professional services agreement with J.E. Saenz & Associates, Inc. The amendment will change the scope of services to delete four items from the existing contract. There will be a decrease to amend the contract from the existing amount of $20,746.00 to the revised contract in the amount of $14,238.40.

Hidalgo County Urban County Program executed a contract with J.E. Saenz & Associates, Inc. in the amount of

$20,746.00 for the 2003 Water/Sewer Improvements project and it was approved by Hidalgo County Commissioner's Court on September 7, 2004. The City of Elsa has requested that the contract be amended to delete four items in order to satisfy budget constraints. The four items that will be deleted are 1) Upgrade 400,000 gal elevated tank 2) Upgrade 700,000 gallon ground storage tank 3) Upgrade one clear well pump and motor & 4) upgrade two automatic valves and times. These items will remain on the Work plan and will be considered as funds become available.
