The Urban County Program, is requesting approval to amend the professional services agreement with J.E. Saenz & Associates, Inc. The amendment will change the scope of services to delete three items from the existing contract. There will be no changes to the contract amount.

Hidalgo County Urban County Program executed a contract with J.E. Saenz & Associates, Inc. in the amount of $56,113.00 for the 2002 Water/Sewer Improvements project and it was approved by Hidalgo County Commissioner's Court on April 4, 2006. The city of Elsa has requested that the contract be amended to delete three items in order to satisfy budget constraints. The three items that will be deleted are 1) New 24"gravity raw water line from North into the new pump station, 2) New pump station 3) Additional cabinet and storage space and new equipment for the lab. These items will remain on the Work plan and will be considered as funds become available. (see attached revised Exhibit "A" (Scope of Services for Engineering Services submitted by the office of J.E. Saenz).
