1. Hold Public Hearing to consider public comments on a proposed program amendment for Pct. #1 utilizing Urban County funds from Program Year 21 (2008). The amendment will transfer the Fire Station Equipment line item to delete the purchase of a Fire truck for the City of Elsa, and include the purchase of a fire truck for the City of Edcouch.
2. Consideration and Approval of an amendment to the Urban County Pct. #1 Year 21 (2008) CDBG workplan to reallocate Fire Station Equipment line item to include purchase of fire truck for the City of Edcouch, deleting the City of Elsa purchase.
BACKGROUND
Hidalgo County Precinct No. 1 is requesting approval of the Program Amendment for Program Year 21 (2008). Hidalgo County Precinct No. 1 will purchase a new fire truck for the City of Edcouch. A public hearing was held on September 2, 2008 at 9:30 am. and citizen participation requirements have been met. (See attached detailed amendment).
