The Urban County Program is requesting the award of bids and approval of contracts for the demolition and reconstruction of the following:
1. (1) unit in the City of Weslaco in the amount of $38,435.00, (1) unit in the City of Elsa in the amount of $37,999.00, (1) unit in the City of San Juan in the amount of $38,435.00 and (2) units in the Countywide area in the total amount of $98,000.00 to Rolando’s General Construction.
2. (1) unit in the Countywide area in the amount of $37,000.00 to De Leon Construction.

BACKGROUND
These families were approved to receive assistance under the HOME-Homeowner Occupied Housing Rehabilitation Program by the County Commissioners’ Court on August 19, 2008 and September 16, 2008. Bids were received and opened at the Hidalgo County Purchasing Department on Wednesday, October 22, 2008.
