Hidalgo County Urban County Program requested authority to negotiate a professional engineering service contract with the No. 1 ranked firm of ERO International LLP, for the provision of architectural services for an Urban County Program, City of Weslaco Public Facility Improvement project on September 30, 2008.  Negotiations with ERO International LLP were not reached due to a conflict with Hidalgo County Architectural Contract already in place.  ERO International LLP has opted to withdraw from the project and the city has requested that Urban County Program request authority to negotiate with the second rated engineering firm of V. A. Architecture as selected on September 30, 2008.  The third rated firm was Alcoser, Garcia Associates Design Consultants. (See AI-11340, CC 09-30-08, 11.I.)
