The Urban County Program requests approval of Change Order No.2 on construction contract with Joe Williamson Construction Company, Inc. to increase contract in the amount of $79,873.10, utilizing City of Alamo general funds.

BACKGROUND

The Urban County Program requests approval of Change Order No. 2 which was presented by the City of Alamo to the existing contract in the amount of $814,546.00 for the construction of a new fire station.  Hidalgo County Commissioner’s Court approved change order No. 1 on December 16, 2008.  The City of Alamo has requested additional work to be performed by the contractor to equal an increase of $79,873.10 for the purchase and installation of a 150kw emergency power generator for the new fire station. 


Approved Contract Amount:                      $ 814,546.00
