BACKGROUND
The project consists of first time sewer improvements, service connections, septic tank remediation, and related appurtenances to 306 residents in the ten (10) colonia area. This project was bid out with a base bid of 306 sewer improvements for Colonia La Homa Road North, Basham Unit # 2, Basham Unit # 8, Alex Cavazos Subd., M. B. Subd., La Palma Subdivision, Basham Unit # 4, Basham Unit # 10, Country Estates West, and M/S Subdivision and an additional bid for 22 sewer services for the same colonias. The additional bid will be paid by the City of Mission with their TWDB EDAP Funds. Bid opening was held on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 and Garza Plumbing was the lowest of three (3) bidders. Attached please find the Engineers recommendation and the bid tabulation sheet.
