Consideration and Approval of an amendment to the Urban County Program – City of Edcouch (Years 20 & 21 2007 & 2008) CDBG workplan to include a Water/Sewer improvements project and a Street improvement project.

The City of Edcouch held a public hearing on February 17, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. and citizen participation requirements have been met, thereafter, the city council approved the amendment .  The City of Edcouch is requesting an amendment to include a Water/Sewer and a Street Improvements Project.  The Water/Sewer Improvements project includes the rehabilitation of the standpipe located at the Edcouch water plant, and the Street Improvements project includes the overlay and reconstruction of streets Lopez, Robert Gonzalez, Murio, Bowers, Pacific and Calle Avenida del Sur).  The Youth Services line item was deleted from the Fiscal Year 21 (2008), the Delta Youth Center closed down.
