The Urban County Program on behalf of the City of La Joya, is requesting approval and award of best and final negotiated contract with Alcocer Garcia & Associates (AGADC) (highest ranked firm), in the amount of $31,662.00 utilizing Year 20 (2007) Precinct No. 3 Parks, Recreational Facilities recaptured funds and Year 21 (2008) La Joya Parks, Recreational Facilities funds.

BACKGROUND

The City of La Joya has negotiated a contract with Alcocer Garcia & Associates (AGADC) in the amount of $31,662.00 for the UCP Year 20 (2007) and Year 21 (2008) Parks, Recreational Facilities Project at La Joya Municipal Park.  Negotiations with Alcocer Garcia & Associates (AGADC) was approved in Hidalgo County Commissioners' Court on March 3, 2009.   See attached proposal and scope of services.

Funds Available $ 57,728.73 Year 20 (2007) Pct. 3 Parks, Recreational Facilities recaptured funds.
  $200,000.00 Year 21 (2008) La Joya Parks, Recreational Facilities funds.
