BACKGROUND
All of the following have been Board Approved and Recommended for CC Acceptance:
1. CSBG Amend.No.3 allows for an extension from12/31/08 thru 4/30/09 in order to exhaust allocation of contract $1,643,470.62 before commencing FY 2009. CSBG Amendments 1 and 2 were approved on Court 9/30/08.
2. CSBG (Community Service Block Grant) FY 2009-effective 1/1/09 – 12/31/09 at 25% availability for initial draw-down equals $406,943.00
3. CSBG Amendment No. 1 FY 2009 raises the next available draw-down to 42% and equals $693,491.00.
4. CSBG/MSFW (Migrant Seasonal Farmworker Program) Amendment No. 3 allows for an extension from 12/31/08 thru 3/31/2009 in order to exhaust allocation of contract $89,594.00. Amendments 1 and 2 were approved on Court 9/30/08.
5. CEAP (Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program) FY 2009-effective 1/1/09 – 12//31/09 for $5,350,028.00. (FY 2008=$1,940,103.00)
6. NTN FY 2009 funding from CPL and customer donations-est. $67,176.00
7. CSA Service Delivery System highlights all program policies and criteria as mandated, regulated, or recommended by funding sources for establishing a fair practice and equitable distribution of available services set in form of a system/process that includes I. Pre-screening, II Application Process, III. Service Delivery, IV. Quality Assurance, V. Pledge/Payment, and VI. Appeals Process.
8. Request for electronic authorization to sign-off completion for timely submittals of reports, contracts, and programmatic data required by funding source.
9. Request the Hon. County Judge to assist the RSVP Program of 27 years, sponsored by us, as Keynote Speaker for this year’s volunteer banquet on May 27, 2009.
